One of the young nobles looked puzzled when he saw who had arrived.
But that wasn't the only thing puzzling him.
There were also several people beside his teacher whom he recognized.
"That's not surprising. Two alchemists are fighting today, after all."

When he saw someone he'd only ever seen in the Academy's statues, the young man's eyes widened in shock.
His exclamation prompted many nobles and their children nearby to cry out as well.

"Mentor Mela came, too!!?"
"Greetings, Mentor Mela."
"Mentor, you're looking as energetic as ever."

Compliments and flattery came pouring in.
Caught between Albert and Nikola, Mela frowned repeatedly.
