Linley saw the dusty Purple Longsword, which had been sealed away for who knew how long. When the blood from his finger dripped onto it, the sword swallowed the drop cleanly, like a sponge. A resonant hum rang in his ears, and the entire blade began to tremble. The dust-covered surface gleamed as if brand-new, while an eerie red sheen spread across the Purple Longsword, as though blood were flowing through it.
Doehring Cowart couldn't help exclaiming, "An unclaimed weapon!"

As Linley moved, a clear sword cry rang out, as if expressing the sword's joy.
When he had dripped blood on it to claim it, Linley had realized that the sword was a soft blade. Once he pulled it free, he flicked it with his battle qi, and it wrapped around his waist like a belt.
After that, Linley called to Bebe, his battle qi surging as he transformed.
Although Linley had reached the ninth rank, his total battle qi hadn't broken through. Even after transforming, he was still a ninth-rank warrior and couldn't fly.
So Linley could only cast Flight, Haste, and a series of other support spells on himself.
After Linley's slaughter,
