After a century in seclusion, Zhao Nan regained access to his soul and discovered that his five clones had become Paragons, making him an eleven-element Paragon. He joined Beirut and Bluefire to retrieve Sovereign Sparks hidden beneath the South Sea.

• Linley told Zhao Nan that the Chief Sovereign of Light had taken his mother's soul, and Zhao Nan told him to reach Paragon strength or fuse two of the Four Edicts before seeking a way to save her.
• Olivier asked how he could catch up to Linley, and Zhao Nan offered him either complete fusion of Light and Darkness or a dangerous method to add more attributes to his mutated soul.
• After a hundred years of seclusion, Zhao Nan sensed his soul power, entered the Law of the World, and discovered that his five clones had reached the Paragon level.
• Zhao Nan absorbed his clones' memories and realized he had become an eleven-element Paragon, then greeted Beirut and Bluefire as they arrived.
• Beirut led Zhao Nan and Bluefire to a sealed cavern beneath the South Sea, where he explained that he had hidden Sovereign Sparks behind a formation that required Sovereign power to open.

Zhao Nan refined Sovereign Sparks, hunted down nine Sovereigns, and transformed his body until the Hongmeng Pearl recognized him as its master. After emerging from three hundred years of seclusion, he killed Augusta, prepared his disciples for transcendence, and entered the Hongmeng Space, where Hongmeng greeted him as “Big Brother Zhao.”

• Beirut gave Zhao Nan the Water and Earth Element Sovereign Sparks, and Zhao Nan refined them along with his Fire Element Sovereign Spark.
• Zhao Nan told Beirut and Bluefire that he needed the remaining eight Sovereign Sparks, then began hunting Sovereigns with Bluefire while Beirut stayed behind.
• After nine Sovereigns fell, Zhao Nan returned to the Yulan Plane and entered seclusion to make his other bodies Sovereigns.
• Zhao Nan's eleven other bodies merged into his true body, and the Hongmeng Pearl recognized him as its master after he formed a Hongmeng Indestructible Body.
• Three hundred years later, Zhao Nan emerged, killed both of Augusta's bodies, changed his disciples' aptitudes, and gave Linley a Sovereign Spark with instructions on the Path of Transcendence.
• Zhao Nan entered the Hongmeng Space, where Hongmeng greeted him as “Big Brother Zhao.”
