Sigh, brothers, being a man was just too hard!
As an unmarried man nearing thirty, whenever a long holiday came around, all the aunts and relatives in the family—whether I knew them or not—would come to pressure me into getting married.
In the morning, my older sister came over with my two adorable little nieces and nephews, and the family used that as an excuse to pressure me into marriage.
In the afternoon, my uncle came over, and once again, it was all about getting married.
My sixty-year-old mother even cried her eyes out, demanding to know why I still wasn't married.
Then she started talking about my father, who had passed away from a tumor three years ago.
And I couldn't even argue with her.
Before my father died, he held my hand and told me, "From now on, you only have one mother. You must treat her well."
Sigh!
Sometimes, I really wanted to escape my family of origin and rent a place outside.
But I truly couldn't bear to leave my sixty-year-old mother home alone. She couldn't even figure out which way the hospital entrance faced.
Sigh, all this upsetting stuff left me with no inspiration at all today, so I was taking the day off.
I sincerely hoped that every one of my readers would find their destined partner, enjoy a happy family, and have loved ones blessed with health and peace!
