Honami's room.

White steam curled up from the hot cocoa on the table, veiling the girl's face.

"So Kono told Yuki all that."

After hearing Yuki Himeno's account, Honami Ichinose looked a little surprised.

"Ichinose... Honami, are you angry?"

Yuki leaned forward slightly and asked in a soft voice.

She had phrased what she'd said rather gently.

But essentially, she was saying that Honami Ichinose's leadership had problems.

"'Take it all' makes it sound way too dramatic," Yuki muttered, though she felt much more at ease. "Then let's start with the study sessions."

Today, after Hoshinomiya-sensei announced the school's hidden rules, she had also mentioned the midterm exams.

Anyone who failed even one subject on the midterms would be expelled.

To help classmates who struggled with studying, Ichinose planned to organize study sessions.

But the number of students who signed up was far beyond what she'd expected—fifteen in all.

Honami explained her idea. "There are a lot of classmates who want to join the study sessions, but we'll split them into two groups, one in the afternoon and one in the evening."

Even Honami thought it would be hard to teach fifteen people at once, so she'd come up with this plan.

"I think you're spending too much time on this, Honami," Yuki said, sharing what was on her mind. "If you're always spending your time tutoring everyone, won't you be left with no time for yourself?"

Honami blinked her lovely eyes and tilted her head in confusion. "Is that a problem?"

She wasn't questioning Yuki.

She simply felt that her own sacrifice was no big deal.

She was doing all this willingly so her classmates wouldn't get expelled. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with that.
