Premium Reflections!

As the title says, this book's average subscriptions have now surpassed 3,000—currently at 3,003. By Qidian's standards for awarding the Premium badge, it successfully entered Qidian's Premium channel today, becoming a Premium ongoing xianxia novel!

Making it into Premium while still serializing could be said to have fulfilled my dream of going Premium. A beautiful dream had come true!

This book went premium on January 17 this year. Its first-day subscriptions were 1,100. When I saw that number, I had absolutely no confidence that it could later reach Premium, because the odds really were not great.

What followed seemed to unfold exactly as I had expected. For a long time, there were no major recommendations. Though the average subscriptions kept rising, they crawled along like a turtle, increasing by less than a hundred each month!

At the time, I truly felt awful!

I kept up three chapters a day for over a month, and in the first few months, I updated 230,000 to 240,000 words every month. But back then, all that updating did not bring the results I wanted, nor did it earn any recommendations. That feeling was truly beyond words—it felt as though all my hard work had been for nothing!

If the plot had not been flowing so smoothly at the time, and if I had not been enjoying writing it so much, I probably would not have been able to keep going.
