After Hirata Yosuke saw Chabashira Sae approve Horikita's proposal, his heart lifted, and he hurriedly said, "We can all pool our money as a class."
"Is that so?"
The young teacher didn't keep them in suspense. She continued, "All right, I can sell you this point, but..."
"If you want to stop Sudo from being expelled, the price is 100,000 Private Points. Can you gather that much?"
Everyone was stunned. No one had expected a single point to cost so much.
"What!"
"That's ridiculously expensive!"
"Hey, Sensei, you're not messing with us, are you? It's the end of the month! How could we possibly have that much?"
Yamauchi Haruki was always short on money. He didn't want Sudo to be expelled, either; after all, Sudo was his friend. But 100,000 was far too much. He'd already spent all his own Private Points and was now getting by on points borrowed from other people.

Hirata Yosuke's face turned pale when he heard the offer. Their Class Evaluation Points had been 390 last month, so everyone had received only 39,000 Private Points on the first of the month.
And because they'd all chipped in to buy the hidden rules back in April, their point balances had stayed low ever since.
Hirata himself had only a few thousand Private Points left. He was waiting for the points to be deposited again on June 1.
"Please, Sensei, could you lower the price? If it were a little cheaper, we could borrow from students in other classes. We'd definitely be able to gather enough." Though Kushida was inwardly sneering, she put on an earnest, helpful act and pleaded with Chabashira Sae to show them some mercy.
Horikita Suzune, who had come up with the plan, also
