Background / History

The Evil God King is an original God King who has held his position without previously passing it on. He wishes to leave the God Realm and explore the cosmic void for greater power, but remains bound by his divine position until a successor inherits it 40 46 49.

He first noticed Qin Tian after Qin Tian slew the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger and acquired its Evil God Bead. Rather than immediately granting a trial, he left a wisp of divine consciousness on Qin Tian while observing the youth's strength and potential 31 40.

When Qin Tian broke into the sealed resting place of the Water Dragon King and Fire Dragon King, the Evil God King intervened. He prevented their lingering souls from possessing Qin Tian, eradicated them, and converted their corpses and remnants into resources for his chosen successor 40 41.

He subsequently offered Qin Tian the inheritance of his God King position and established the Evil God Nine Trials. He also recruited Qin Tian to seek a suitable successor for the Kindness God King, leading Qin Tian to recommend Qian Renxue 42 43.

Personality

The Evil God King is arrogant, independent, and openly dismissive of restrictions imposed by other gods. When confronted by the Asura God King for interfering in the lower realm, he refused to accept Asura's authority over him 41.

Despite his ruthless treatment of the Water and Fire Dragon Kings, he is deeply invested in Qin Tian's development. He personally reshapes Qin Tian's foundation, grants generous rewards, monitors his progress, and wants him to mature quickly enough to inherit the divine position 41 46 47.

He shares a long-standing friendship with the Kindness God King. Their opposing divine natures are described as mutually reinforcing and mutually destructive, and he ultimately agrees to help Kindness seek a successor 42 46.
