Chapter Summaries

Ansu met with the Order's returning leaders and discussed the Demon army's preparations to attack Novigel, then learned Altina had returned to Elune after he left. He planned to tell Vera and Freya what happened during his journey through the [Beacon of Time], while wondering when he might see Altina again.

• Ansu attended a meeting with Professor Duncan, Elder Barnes, and the other leaders, and the group discussed the Order's troubles during his and Cecilia's absence.
• Vera reported that the Demons were receiving large shipments of Magic Crystals, and Ansu concluded they were preparing a new offensive behind a magical barrier.
• Ansu said the Order needed to break the barrier and secure more [Scarlet marrowstone], and he planned to contact Elune's leadership.
• Vera explained that Altina had returned to Elune after Ansu left, and that she had asked Vera to tell her if he came back.
• Vera revealed that she had sent Altina word of Ansu's return and that Altina had replied, "thank you!"

Ansu’s meeting was interrupted when Altina flew through the aerial defenses to reach him, and the two reunited after six hundred years apart. Altina confronted him over the memories he had erased, then declared that she would never let him go again.
