A True Disciple who was settling a dispute in one of the shops heard the other Inner Sect disciples' voices and looked up in surprise. After briefly scolding two shopkeepers who had been arguing over their territory, he warmly greeted An Jing as well.
The figure waved a hand. "I'm buying a lot of odds and ends. No need to trouble you; I can handle it myself."
"Peak Master An, this is such a small matter. You could've sent someone else to take care of it. Why come all the way here yourself?"
Noticing someone's arrival, a senior True Disciple who managed this Spirit Land market—an elder who was about to take up a post as a sect administrator—came out of the market's central office. He laughed heartily. "Do you have time to share a drink later? I got some fine liquor from Brother Heguang's place—thank goodness he's back. The sect's good liquor supply has grown again!"
