The once-bustling hall fell silent once again because of Lin Zhiluo.
Everyone stared at the corpse on the ground, too horrified to speak.
Even Gao Dong, inside the office, sensed that something was wrong.
He was criticizing himself for forgetting to get up and see Lin Luo and his brother downstairs.
Then he realized that the noisy sounds outside had suddenly stopped.
Gao Dong opened the office door.
"What's going on? You..." Before he could finish, Gao Dong saw the corpse lying on the ground.
"Th-this isn't Jia Tai? How did he die?" Gao Dong said in surprise.
His words shattered the silence.
Only then did many people react, screaming and talking over one another.
"Someone's been murdered!"
"Holy shit, one slap spun his head halfway around. Holy shit!"
"No, I'm going to throw up. This is disgusting. Ugh."
The hall grew noisy again.
It was even more chaotic than before.
One of Gao Dong's loyal underlings came over and told him what had just happened.
When Gao Dong heard that Lin Zhiluo had ordered Da Sha to slap Jia Tai to death, he nearly laughed out loud. His greatest enemy had just kicked the bucket?
