Da Sha reluctantly set down the roast chicken in his hands.
Then he stood up and picked up the Large Iron Rod he had just found.
But his face still wore a gloomy expression.
Lin Zhiluo chuckled and said helplessly, "Work hard for me tonight, and I'll get you two more roast chickens tomorrow!"
Da Sha perked right up, raising the Large Iron Rod high in his hands.
His eyes even shone with a different light.
Ah, the world of food lovers was so simple, yet so dull.
The Modu Library was a circular building.
It had two arched entrances, one at the front and one at the back.
Since the Doomsday Game had descended at seven in the evening,
there hadn't been many people reading in the library at that hour.
So there weren't as many zombies gathered at the library entrance as there had been at the stadium.
It was now the fourth day of the apocalypse.
Some of the zombies had reached level three.
A small number had reached level four.
Their basic attributes were about five points higher than those of the zombies before.
That put even more pressure on ordinary people below level four.
But did that make any difference to Lin Zhiluo and Da Sha?
As usual, Lin Zhiluo first found a detailed map of the library's interior near the plaza in front of the main entrance.
He planned out his route.
Then he charged toward the zombies gathered at the entrance with Da Sha at his side.
Nightfall was about half an hour away. They had to fight their way into the library within thirty minutes.
That was the only way to avoid being surrounded by zombies.
