Background / History

The Jiuli Blade originated as a form of the Jiuli Bead, the supreme treasure of the Jiuli tribe and an exclusive item of the Master of Weapons profession. After the bead consumed the Decapitation Demon Blade, Lin Zhiluo first shaped it into a Silver Grade long blade and gained its form-specific combat skills. The bead could also take other weapon forms, including a bow, spear, stinger, and guandao. 76 103 165

Its growth depends on devouring energy and equipment. At Legend Grade, its minimum devouring requirement had risen to Diamond Grade equipment; after reaching Mythical Grade, it retained the potential to continue advancing beyond its current rank. 471 905

The Jiuli Blade is a long blade whose appearance changes subtly with its grade.

• Epic Grade — Dark gold, with increasingly complex inscriptions and mountain-and-river patterns. 238
• Legend Grade — Still dark gold; its inscriptions and patterns are no longer plainly visible, instead appearing when the observer fixes their gaze upon the blade. 471
• Mythical Grade — Retains its dark-gold body but bears a faint red line along its edge, designed to release Lin Zhiluo’s killing intent swiftly in the direction of the blade. 905

Transformative Form

As a manifestation of the Jiuli Bead, the blade can be freely reshaped into other weapon forms according to Lin Zhiluo’s intent, granting the professional abilities associated with that form. 76 471

Jiuli Slash

Jiuli Slash releases a giant blade aura forward. At Legend Grade, it dealt 200% of Strength as damage, amplified pain to 300%, reduced its cooldown after a kill, and slowed survivors by 20%. 472

• Its Mythical Grade upgrade raises its power by 10%, increases pain by 100%, and improves its other effects. 905
• Flame Marks can coat the blade aura in fire and expand its area by roughly one-third. 155

Jiuli Heavy Slash

Jiuli Heavy Slash is the blade’s primary single-target burst attack. At Legend Grade, it dealt damage equal to 300% of Strength plus 50% of Constitution, at the cost of a 0.8-second stiffness state; an instant kill reduced that stiffness by 0.5 seconds. 472

Jiuli Shatter is activated by driving the blade into the ground, creating a large circular tremor centered on the weapon. Its damage against living targets is comparatively limited, but it specializes in destroying structures, equipment, weapons, and similar targets. 238 504
