Advancement
Divine Power
Divine Power is the basic resource for early-rank advancement. It can be generated from Incense Wish Power, acquired from rewards, or obtained by selling offerings and treasures to the Deity Shop 2 108 373.
- 1,000 Incense Wish Power condenses into 1 Divine Power at the outset of the system 1.
- Advancement costs rise sharply with rank, from 100 Divine Power for Unranked to Subordinate Ninth Rank to 15,000 Divine Power for Principal Ninth Rank to Subordinate Eighth Rank 1 33.
- At Principal Seventh Rank, Divine Power is stored in Deity Pools; each pool holds 100 million strands, and three full pools are required to reach Subordinate Sixth Rank 200.
- At Subordinate Third Rank, 100 million pools of Divine Power form one River of Divine Power 531.
- At later stages, advancement demands River God Power or World Divine Power alongside additional conditions 714 1300.
Metamorphosis
Advancement is not immediate at higher ranks. A promotion causes the deity’s divine body, Divine Domain, and Divine Path Law to undergo a Metamorphosis 459.
- The Principal Third Rank metamorphosis takes three months 580 586.
- The Principal Second Rank metamorphosis takes six months 703.
- The Principal First Rank metamorphosis takes three years 854.
- Each Divine Path Metamorphosis can equate to an entire major realm of advancement in other cultivation systems 459.
Special Conditions
From the higher ranks onward, Divine Power alone is insufficient.
- Principal Third Rank requires a River of Divine Power, specified Subordinate Gods and Sub-Saint-level Believers, plus the Six Qi: Destiny and Creation; Reincarnation and Life-Death; Causality and Impermanence; Chaos and Yin-Yang; All Living Beings and Myriad Phenomena; and Reality and Illusion 531.
- Subordinate First Rank requires the Billion-Zhang Great Dao Divine Radiance, ten Dao-Grade Believers, all five types of Mortal Dust Qi, and ten portions of Divine Dao Origin retrieved by qualified Subordinate Gods 772.
- Principal First Rank requires extensive resources and followers, passage through Three Lives Three Worlds, rare Divine Path materials, and Red Dust Great Emperor-level peak strength 853.
- Mid Dao-Wielding Divine Rank requires both large-scale faction development and rare external materials, including 120 drops of Cloudborne Divine Brew and ten strands of Hell Aura 1511.
Effects of Divine Rank
Divine Arts and Combat Power
A higher Divine Rank strengthens existing Divine Arts and unlocks stronger techniques.
- At Subordinate Ninth Rank, the same Divine Power expenditure makes the Golden Blade Art stronger than it was for an Unranked Wild God 3.
- At Principal Ninth Rank, new Divine Techniques require at least 50 Divine Power each, while techniques from the prior rank remain cheaper to use 33.
- At Subordinate Sixth Rank, several techniques evolve into City God variants, including Orthodox God Heavenly Eye into City God Divine Eye and City God Manifestation into Second Divine Body 260.
- Divine Rank establishes a deity’s baseline strength, but artifacts, Divine Arts, law comprehension, Believers, and Subordinate Gods can allow combat power far above that baseline 200 460.
Divine Domain and Immortality
The Divine Domain expands with advancement and becomes increasingly central to a deity’s survival.
- Principal Seventh Rank establishes the Divine Domain as the deity’s true body; if the external body is destroyed, the deity can revive within the Domain 200.
- At Subordinate Fifth Rank, the deity remains undying as long as the Divine Domain endures 335.
- The Divine Domain also reflects the deity’s comprehended laws, with elemental manifestations appearing throughout it at higher ranks 380.
Jurisdiction and Believers
Divine Rank expands a deity’s Jurisdiction, which increases the potential population of Believers and sources of Incense Wish Power 335 434.
- Believers and Subordinate Gods are essential components of a deity’s strength, including in God War 9.
- Higher-rank advancement increasingly requires specific quantities and quality tiers of Believers and Subordinate Gods 654 772 853.
- The Eternal Buff grants monthly Divine Power toward advancement to every deity in the Eternal Divine Court, with larger percentages for high-ranking deities and the Lord of the Divine Court 471.
God War
God War becomes available only after a deity reaches Subordinate Ninth Rank and has existed for more than one year 9.
| Phase | Participants | Penalty for defeat |
|---|---|---|
| Believer War | Both sides’ transcendent Believers | Deity strength reduced by 30% |
| Subordinate God War | Subordinate Gods or Yin Soldiers | Deity strength reduced by 20% |
| Deity War | The deities themselves | Death of one side |
The victor receives surviving Believers from the defeated side, five times the activation cost in Divine Power, Blessing Talismans, Divine Law Fragments, and other rewards 9.
