Nature and Principles
The Divine Path is a cultivation system built around Deities receiving faith, governing a Divine Domain and Jurisdiction, accumulating Divine Power, and sheltering believers. A deity’s growth is tied to both the number and strength of their followers, since believers generate Incense Wish Power and provide the offerings used in Grand Sacrifices. 1 9 16
Unlike cultivation paths that require practitioners to comprehend laws before advancing, the Divine Path uses Divine Power for promotion; a successful advancement naturally grants command of the corresponding laws. 377
Its early ranks include an Unranked state and the Subordinate and Principal divine ranks. At higher levels, the system includes the Three Pure Ones Dao Ancestor Divine Rank, the Dao-Treading Divine Rank, the Taboo Divine Rank, and historically recorded Dimension Divine Ranks. 1 1221 1370
Offerings and Hundredfold Amplification
Grand Sacrifices are one of the Divine Path’s defining mechanisms.
- An offering cannot carry direct karma from a deity; it must be obtained solely through the faithful’s own efforts. 1
- The Divine Path’s laws can amplify Grand Sacrifice offerings one hundredfold.
- Li Yue’s first offering, a Tier 1 Body Strengthening Grass, became a Tier 4 Dragon Blood Flame Grass after amplification. 1
- Later sacrifices reached far higher tiers, including a Thirteenth-Order offering amplified into a Fifteenth-Order Burning Heaven Myriad Fire Holy Ganoderma. 373
- The quality of a deity’s believers directly affects the quality of offerings they can obtain and sacrifice. 16 37
Faith, Divine Power, and Believers
- One thousand units of Incense Wish Power can condense into one unit of Divine Power. 1
- Divine Power is consumed for promotion, Divine Arts, construction, blessings, and other divine actions. 1 377
- Believers and Subordinate Gods are crucial in God War; their strength can determine a deity’s victory or defeat. 9
- Li Yue ultimately identifies the Human Race and its believers as the foundation of his Divine Path. 1258
- At the Taboo Divine Rank, a deity’s Jurisdiction can become an inner Micro-Dimension in which believers multiply and thrive. 1258
Divine Domains and Jurisdictions
A Divine Domain is the core territory of a deity’s power. Li Yue begins with a Divine Domain only one zhang in radius, but later governs vast Jurisdictions and dimensions. 1
- Divine Domains contain offerings, divine treasures, and divine forces.
- Deities are strongest within their Jurisdictions; leaving them can reduce their strength. 227
- A stable Divine Domain is necessary for certain high-level Divine Arts that borrow the strength of believers. 295
- Divine Soldiers can stabilize a Divine Domain when a deity draws upon the power of Grade B or stronger believers. 295
Divine Arts and Divine Authority
The Divine Path grants Divine Arts that allow Deities to intervene in mortal and spiritual affairs.
- Early Divine Arts include Dream Projection Art, Golden Blade Art, Confer Ghost Soldier, and Confer Temple Keeper. 1
- Divine Arts may have strict activation requirements: Dream Projection requires a sleeping target, Confer Ghost Soldier requires a ghost, and Confer Temple Keeper requires specific conditions. 1
- Promotion unlocks stronger arts and increases their effectiveness even when they consume the same amount of Divine Power. 3
- Deities can grant Divine Grace, Blessing Talismans, divine titles, and cultivation methods to elevate believers and create Subordinate Gods. 102 154 233
History
Emergence in the Age of Deities
The Divine Path first appears to Li Yue through the interfaces and laws governing the transmigrated Wild Gods of the Age of Deities. It establishes the relationship between a deity, their believers, Incense Wish Power, Divine Power, Grand Sacrifices, and Divine Rank promotion. 1
Its early system also creates direct competition among deities through God War. Voluntary participants can be matched against deities of equal or higher Divine Rank, while victory offers believers, Divine Power, Blessing Talismans, and Divine Law Fragments. 9
Relationship with Humanity
The Divine Path is repeatedly linked to the Human Path. Li Yue maintains that the two paths have no inherent hierarchy: the Divine Path is born from the Human Race’s faith, while Deities protect and develop humanity. 205
Later, Li Yue reaches a deeper conclusion: “The Divine Path is the Human Path,” and enemies who prey upon humanity are also enemies of the Divine Path. 1310
Historic accounts describe Deities walking alongside human prodigies: humans established imperial dynasties to govern the living, while Deities conferred subordinate gods to oversee the world and matters after death. 254
Divine Courts and Collective Growth
The Divine Path once possessed the Nine Great Divine Courts, whose decline was attributed to entities known as Divine Path Parasites—beings that stole the Path’s luck for themselves. 731
Li Yue later establishes the Eternal Divine Court and expands it through Divine Court missions, shared resources, Divine Court Dao Foundations, and system-wide buffs. 391 592 685
As the thirteenth Divine Path Leader, Li Yue establishes the Hall of All Gods to unite scattered Divine Path factions against the First Dimension. More than four thousand Taboo Deities gather under his authority. 1375
The Hall of All Gods subsequently begins creating the Divine Path Dimension, a Super Ninefold Fusion Dimension meant to serve as a shared foundation for Divine Path organizations. 1376 1410
Known Organizations and Factions
| Organization / Faction | Connection to the Divine Path | Notes |

| Hall of All Gods | Unified Divine Path organization | Founded by Li Yue to gather Taboo Deities and resist the First Dimension. 1375 |
| Divine Path Alliance | Major Divine Path faction | Formerly connected to the Origin Fate Organization; Li Yue subdues it and uses its members to strengthen the Wisdom Deity. 1321 1324 |
| Ancient God Heavenly Court | Major Divine Path faction | Founded by the former Divine Path Leader Gu Tuo; supported by the Ancient God Clan. 1324 1376 |
| Way-Seeking Organization | Major Divine Path faction | Founded by Lin Wendao and noted for possessing twelve Half-step Dimension-level beings. 1324 |

| Divine Path Dimension | Shared Divine Path territory | Formed by merging Ninefold Fusion Dimensions contributed by multiple factions. 1376 1410 |
Relationships
- Human Race — The source of believers and the identified foundation of Li Yue’s Divine Path; Deities shelter humanity in return for its worship. 205 1258
- Human Path — A complementary path closely bound to the Divine Path; Li Yue eventually equates the Divine Path with the Human Path’s ultimate peak. 205 222 1310
- Eternal Divine Court — The largest known institutional expression of Li Yue’s Divine Path, strengthened by Divine Court Dao Foundations and law Metamorphoses. 648 685
- Divine Path Leaders — Twelve leaders preceded Li Yue in the Three Thousand Dimensions; Li Yue identifies himself as the thirteenth Divine Path Leader. 1324 1375
- First Dimension — A major hostile force that hunts Divine Path Deities during the Dark Age. 1318 1375
- Other cultivation paths — Many factions suppress the Divine Path because its expansion through territory, believers, and Subordinate Gods threatens to dominate the Three Thousand Dimensions. 1399
- Divine Path Parasites — Internal enemies that steal the Path’s luck; they are implicated in the fall of the Nine Great Divine Courts. 731
- Treading Dao — Suspected by Gray Valley’s souls to be connected to, or possibly the creator of, the Divine Path after transcending; this remains unconfirmed. 1270 1280
- Ancient Emperor Lord Zhi — Another possible origin figure. Li Yue theorizes that Zhi may have created or tested the Divine Path, though later evidence leaves this uncertain. 1407 1509
- Unawakened — A remnant thought claiming to be one of the three Ancient Gods of the Divine Path; he identifies the Divine Path Origin Sea as the source of the Divine Path in High Heaven. 1510
Limitations and Threats
- The Divine Path lacks a complete yin side and has no true Netherworld Court; its existing Eighteen Layers of Purgatory and Underworld Dharma Domain do not fully govern the death and reincarnation of Deities and believers. 692
- Past leaders, including Yun Qiannian and Yan Xiao, reached the Dimension Divine Rank. Their surviving statements suggest that the Path may have been “cut short” or blocked by the dimensions. 1370
- The Divine Path’s expansion generates enemies because it claims territory, collects incense offerings, and gathers large populations of believers and Subordinate Gods. 1399
- A warning from Zhou Zijian describes chained Gods and Devils attempting to fell a “divine tree” that may be both the tree and art of the Divine Way. 217
- The God Clan was allegedly annihilated because its name became taboo and made it a natural enemy of the Divine Path. 554
Origin Theories
| Source | Claim | Certainty |
|---|---|---|
| Shattered Divine Realm | The ruin may be connected to an earlier Divine Path civilization or to a Divine Path that fled from the Perfect Dimension after catastrophe. | Li Yue’s conjecture. 963 964 |
| Treading Dao | The legendary first-ranked being may have created the Divine Path after transcending. | Suspected by Gray Valley’s souls. 1270 1280 |
| Ancient Emperor Lord Zhi | Zhi may have created the Three Thousand Dimensions to develop, test, or establish the Divine Path. | Li Yue’s theory; challenged by evidence that Zhi’s stone tablets do not directly mention the Divine Path. 1407 1509 |
| Ancient Divine Path civilization | The Heartfire Art and the Ancient God’s remains indicate that a powerful Divine Path civilization may have existed before the Primordial Era. | Li Yue’s interpretation. 1487 |
| Divine Path Origin Sea | The source of the Divine Path in High Heaven is the Divine Path Origin Sea; only Transcendence-level Deities can enter without assimilation. | Claimed by Unawakened’s remnant thought. 1510 |
