The Blood Demon Clan was not in good condition. The second-stage Supremes all frowned, clearly greatly affected by the Soul-Extinguishing Mist.
Though it would not kill them outright, it was certain to weaken a portion of their strength.
Among them, the first-stage Supremes of the Blood Demon Clan had already gone pale. No matter how tenacious their life force was, they could not withstand injuries to the soul. They gradually lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground.
At that point, most of the soul within their bodies had likely been erased, causing them to lose consciousness.
Not long after they collapsed, their bodies completely lost the ability to resist. The Soul-Extinguishing Mist would gradually grind away every last remnant of their souls!
In just a short time, more than a dozen first-stage Supremes on the Blood Demon Clan's side had died. There was no pain whatsoever; it was as though they had simply been too exhausted and fallen asleep—except they would never wake again.
The remaining Blood Demon Clan members presumably had relatively resilient souls and could adapt to the current concentration of Soul-Extinguishing Mist. But entering Mist City was clearly impossible for them.

Within the Blood Demon Clan, anyone below the second stage of Supreme was part of the royal clan. Only after evolving into the divine clan could one possess the strength of a second-stage Supreme.
The royal clan
