Seizing Points

The dazzling, scorching white lightning crackled and popped as Mu Qing struck the student squarely in the chest with a punch. The electric discharge surged forth, its overbearing power charring the student's chest black.

The student's school uniform was completely shredded, and he spat out a mouthful of blood, already suffering from severe injuries.

He opened his mouth, wanting to cry out for help and tell the two people outside to contact the other squads, for there were extremely powerful individuals inside this cave. Furthermore, through the light of the communication device, he had caught sight of Mu Qing and his two companions.

Mu Qing strode forward and knocked him unconscious with a sharp chop of his hand.

At the same time, the two people outside immediately sensed something was wrong and tried to turn and flee, but they were dragged directly into the cave by Ling Fei.

Under the terrified gazes of these two, Ling Fei and Jiang Yuanjie pounced, tightly covering their mouths and quickly subduing them.

After knocking the two of them unconscious as well, Mu Qing stepped forward and snatched the Recorders from the wrists of all three.

"One for each of us," Mu Qing said, handing two of the Recorders to Jiang Yuanjie and Ling Fei.

"Tch, and here I thought these three would have a decent amount of points; it's only eighty-something." Ling Fei crushed the Recorder, and the number on the one in his hand rose, bringing his total points to 195.

Mu Qing and Jiang Yuanjie also crushed their respective Recorders.

Afterward, Mu Qing looked at his own Recorder; the numbers on it flickered continuously before finally settling at 206.

Mu Qing gave a wry smile and said, "I only gained seventy-something points."

Beside him, Jiang Yuanjie chuckled and said, "Haha, I'm the lucky one; I gained a full hundred points."

Jiang Yuanjie now had 171 points. Previously, his News Department had been routed by the faction formed by the North Campus, and he hadn't had many points to begin with, leaving him far behind Mu Qing and Ling Fei.

"Let's leave this place first. The North Campus squads have been nearby, and if they find out they can't reach these three guys, they might take action," Jiang Yuanjie suddenly stopped smiling and said.

Mu Qing and Ling Fei nodded, and the three of them walked out of the cave.

However, Jiang Yuanjie ran into trouble again upon leaving; his fat, bulky body got stuck once more, and it was only with the help of Mu Qing and Ling Fei that he managed to squeeze out of the cave.

Yet, there were now two footprints on the seat of Jiang Yuanjie's pants.

"Ouch, you two really don't know how to hold back!" Jiang Yuanjie cried out in pain, the corners of his mouth twitching.

Both Mu Qing and Ling Fei wore smiles on their faces.

The sky had turned completely dark, and Mu Qing and the others had to rely on the lights from their communication devices to barely see their surroundings.

"It's a good thing the school didn't confiscate our communication devices, otherwise we wouldn't be able to move at all at night," Ling Fei muttered, complaining slightly.

"Yeah," Jiang Yuanjie nodded, curling his lip as he said, "Not letting us bring food is one thing, but they even blocked the network on the communication devices."

Gurgle.

As soon as Jiang Yuanjie finished speaking, a sound erupted from his stomach, immediately attracting the attention of Mu Qing and Ling Fei.

"What are you looking at! I haven't eaten anything all day!" Jiang Yuanjie looked as if he were about to cry, his face twisted from hunger.

As for Jiang Yuanjie, he had encountered very few beasts, which was why his points were even lower than those of Mu Qing and Ling Fei.

It was precisely because the beasts on the outer perimeter of Lake Heart Island were mostly in packs and rarely alone that students from the various campuses would venture into the depths to scout the situation.

This faction often split into individual squads to search for the whereabouts of students from the other three campuses to rob them.

However, as they traveled deeper into Lake Heart Island, they encountered more and more people, all of whom were in groups, and they would go up to rob any students from other campuses they encountered.
