Mu Qing's face was filled with shock; he stared at the hundred-meter-long Flying Warship in the sky, momentarily speechless.
The Flying Warship before him was pitch black, reflecting cold, metallic glints under the sunlight. It was equipped with various cannon barrels and machine guns, looking incredibly formidable.
At the top of the Flying Warship was a gold-stamped "Long" character, which shimmered with a faint, mysterious radiance.
Although this Flying Warship was not as large as the transport ships at school, it was equipped with many weapons—some of which Mu Qing even recognized as the terrifying armaments described by his teachers.
Ke Fei laughed heartily, feeling quite satisfied with Mu Qing's stunned expression.
He had put a great deal of effort into acquiring this Flying Warship, having slain many fierce beasts and gathered materials from their remains before finally trading for it from an organization.
He told Mu Qing that this Flying Warship was named Long Clan No. 1. It was the initial prototype and the weakest model developed by that organization, yet it possessed extraordinary power and state-of-the-art weaponry.
"Once this Long Clan No. 1 unleashes its full power, it's enough to double my strength!" Ke Fei said with a smile, stroking the Flying Warship before him, his eyes filled with gratification.
There was a dragon-shaped pattern on the Long Clan No. 1, which looked as if it had been carved by a sharp object, occasionally emitting a profound aura that signaled it was no simple design.
This Flying Warship had clearly accompanied Ke Fei for a long time and had fought alongside him; after more than a decade apart, Ke Fei was deeply moved.
However, Mu Qing's gaze was currently fixed on the golden communication device on Ke Fei's wrist.
The scene from earlier had truly shocked him; how could a Flying Warship emerge from a communication device the size of a bracelet?
The Flying Warship was massive and incredibly heavy; he could see that it had even caused cracks to appear on the ground.
Mu Qing stared at the golden communication device in Ke Fei's hand, and a conjecture he had once heard in a school lecture couldn't help but surface in his mind.
Space Folding Device!
Many years ago, in order to resist the cosmic fierce beast race, humanity not only learned how to cultivate bloodlines to strengthen themselves but also pursued a dual approach by constantly researching technology.
Because they had to deal with the fierce beast race, numerous scientists joined forces and developed many combat-oriented items.
One scientist, in particular, had developed space folding technology and created many terrifying weapons, all of which involved mysterious space power.
Although he was not a top-tier powerhouse and hadn't even reached the eighth-rank bloodline, the number of ninth-rank fierce beasts that had died by his hand was countless!
Ke Fei saw through Mu Qing's thoughts and laughed loudly, introducing, "What I have on my hand is the legendary space folding device. This golden communication device is called a Space Ring!"
Mu Qing finally understood.
A Space Ring was simply a standard communication device integrated with space folding technology, allowing it to store items.
According to Ke Fei, this golden Space Ring had an extraordinary origin; the space inside was vast, and it was also a symbol of a certain kind of authority.
Ke Fei showed the Space Ring to Mu Qing; on the inner side, there was a small dragon-shaped pattern, identical to the one on the Flying Warship.
"Both my Space Ring and the Long Clan No. 1 were obtained from the same organization," Ke Fei told Mu Qing about the origin of both items.
Mu Qing wanted to ask more, but Ke Fei cut him off.
"Do you still want to take the College Entrance Exam or not?" Ke Fei glared at him.
He had only wanted to show off, but he hadn't expected Mu Qing to get so carried away, constantly trying to dig into the history of the golden Space Ring.
Mu Qing chuckled, realizing he had been a bit too eager.
"Time is tight. You get into the Long Clan No. 1 first and head to the school, while I go to the center of Lake Heart Island to retrieve that most precious treasure!" As Ke Fei spoke, he pulled Mu Qing into the Flying Warship.
His figure flickered, and in the blink of an eye, he reached the cockpit. His hands danced rapidly across various instruments, and a light screen emerged displaying a route—the exact route to the East Campus!
Ke Fei stroked his white beard and laughed, "I didn't expect that after all these years, I would still remember some of the routes to West Lake High School."
Mu Qing watched blankly; the instruments in the cockpit made his head spin, and he couldn't understand them at all.
"There is a living cabin on the Long Clan No. 1. You can go rest there. Once it reaches the destination, it will dump you out!" Ke Fei gave a strange laugh, dropped that sentence, and turned to leave.
He had to fulfill his promise to retrieve the most precious treasure on Lake Heart Island for Mu Qing; this was his way of repaying him.
Because he was worried about Mu Qing's College Entrance Exam, he decided to split up: he would go retrieve the treasure, while Mu Qing would take his Flying Warship to the East Campus.
One had to realize that Lake Heart Island was in the very center of West Lake. While the distance to West Lake High School wasn't exactly far, without any boats, Mu Qing had no way to cross that distance and could only rely on Ke Fei's Flying Warship.
Before leaving the Flying Warship, Ke Fei grabbed a clean set of clothes, muttering a few strange laughs.
Mu Qing's mouth twitched. He had clearly caught the word "dump" in Ke Fei's remark, and his heart pounded; heaven knows what kind of "dumping" method that would be.
Rumble!
A roar echoed as the Long Clan No. 1 trembled. A gust of wind pressure vented into the surroundings, and the hundred-meter-long giant warship lifted off. Blue-white flames erupted, and within a dozen seconds, it ascended into the high sky.
"Route captured, proceeding automatically..."
A synthesized electronic voice rang out. The Long Clan No. 1's tail emitted flames, carving a black arc across the sky as it sped toward the East Campus.
Mu Qing didn't feel much inside the Flying Warship, nor was there any sensation of weightlessness. He arrived at the living cabin Ke Fei had mentioned, which was fully stocked with all kinds of delicacies and clothing.
His eyes lit up slightly as he stepped forward to grab some food and began to devour it.
His days on Lake Heart Island had been agonizing; his daily food consisted only of Crow Blood, weeds, and dead branches, which tasted incredibly foul and bitter.
Now, he bit off a large chunk of the burger in his hand, so moved that tears were almost falling; this was what food was supposed to taste like!
There was plenty of food in the living cabin. After filling his stomach, Mu Qing went into the bathroom to wash up and changed into a white shirt and black trousers.
The school uniform he had been wearing was completely shredded during his time on Lake Heart Island, and he had been covered in filth.
He had previously called Ke Fei a sloppy old man, but in reality, he had been a sloppy kid himself, with tattered clothes, looking just like a beggar.
After washing up, Mu Qing felt refreshed. He sat cross-legged and began circulating the Giant Elephant Transport Technique to restore the Origin Force of the little black fish within his dantian.
At the same time, he was deep in thought, recalling the golden communication device his mysterious father had sent him via courier.
He compared it to the golden Space Ring in Ke Fei's possession; their appearances were nearly identical. He speculated that the golden device was very likely a Space Ring itself!
Mu Qing had originally assumed the golden communication device was merely for his father to send him messages, so he hadn't studied or observed it very carefully.
"Ding! The route is nearing completion. Estimated arrival at West Lake High School, East Campus, in three minutes!"
At this moment, a synthesized electronic voice reached Mu Qing's ears. His face lit up with joy; he hadn't expected the Flying Warship to be so fast.
Meanwhile, inside the training grounds of the East Campus, all the students of the East Campus had been arranged into their respective class areas.
Among Class 3-B, Mu Qing's acquaintances Ling Fei, Yang Shanshan, Ji Jia, and Jiang Yuanjie were all present.
In reality, Jiang Yuanjie was not in Class B, but because of the battle at Lake Heart Island, he had forged a deep friendship with Ling Fei and the others, so he had snuck over to join them.
"What should we do? The testing for Class A is about to end, and Mu Qing is still nowhere to be seen!" A look of anxiety appeared on Ji Jia's delicate face.
The first stage of the College Entrance Exam was the simplest, consisting merely of testing one's realm and martial arts strength, after which Federation personnel would score and record the results.
Although simple, it was a mandatory participation requirement. If one failed to attend, they would be unable to participate in the subsequent two stages and would be marked as absent.
Beside her, Yang Shanshan also frowned slightly. She was wearing a blue long dress, looking beautiful and moving, much like a little princess.
Next to her was Jiang Yuanjie, who was constantly making calls with the communication device in his hand.
His body was bloated and bulky, taking up the space of two people, and under the scorching sun, he was drenched in sweat.
"How is it? Did you find anything? Any sign of Mu Qing's whereabouts?" Jiang Pangzi asked nimbly while wiping the sweat from his forehead.
He had just contacted over a dozen people, all with the same set of questions.
Ling Fei also looked uneasy, keeping a constant watch on the situation over at Jiang Yuanjie's side.
Jiang Pangzi was the head of the school's News Department and had an incredibly wide network of connections. He had many subordinates who originally specialized in capturing the dark history of famous figures in the school, but after the Mock Exam ended, he had dispatched them all to search for clues about Mu Qing.
"What? Still nothing? What are you all good for!" After contacting a few more people, he flew into a rage, scolding them frantically.
"Hmph! Stop wasting your efforts. Mu Qing is a murderer, and our Wang Family has already joined forces with the senior management of West Lake High School to issue a warrant for his arrest!" A figure appeared before the group. He had a handsome face and was followed by a beautiful female companion.
The person who arrived was none other than Wang Haixuan and Song Yalan.
Wang Haixuan had his arm around Song Yalan's slender waist, sniffing the faint, elegant fragrance on her body, a look of disdain curling his lips.
His gaze was like a thorn, sweeping across the group with great sharpness.
"Wang Haixuan! Don't think that just because you relied on the Wang Family's resources to break through to the ninth stage of Blood Qi that you are invincible!" Ling Fei stood up abruptly. He was even taller than Wang Haixuan, looking down at him from above.
A terrifying aura erupted from Ling Fei's body—he had actually reached the ninth stage of Blood Qi!
Jiang Pangzi had already been furious, and seeing Wang Haixuan arrive, he stood up with a start.
