Mu Qing let out an angry shout. Lightning burst from his body as he shot forward at astonishing speed, clenched his five fingers into a fist, and unleashed six streaks of Blazing White Lightning.
But the Giant Toad had thick skin and tough flesh. Only its outer hide was damaged, oozing green blood.
The Giant Toad roared. Its tongue could stretch almost endlessly, and it was covered in barbs. It whipped about like a lash, then shot out like a spear, its fierce gusts of wind tearing through the walls.
Its power was terrifying. The entire sixth floor of the apartment was in ruins. The glass shattered, and even the already-dilapidated furniture split apart.
Mu Qing was on the defensive. This was his first time facing a Fierce Beast, and he had no experience.
Both his fists were wrapped in crackling lightning. Every punch that struck the Giant Toad unleashed six streaks of Blazing White Lightning.
"This won't work!" Mu Qing watched the still-rampaging Giant Toad and realized things were going badly.

It opened its jaws, and a foul wind surged out. Blinding white light shone from its pitch-black mouth, while mysterious runes flickered faintly across its body.
Mu Qing's heart lurched. He sensed a deadly threat and, with lightning flashing around him, hurriedly dodged.
He didn't have time to think. Three tons of force erupted from his body, and he crashed through the wall, charging down to the fifth floor.
