Seeing Ichinose suddenly lower her head, her pretty face flushed red and her eyes darting away.
Aoyama was confused now.
"Xiao Fanbo, why are you blushing?" Amikura was just as puzzled as Aoyama. She couldn't understand what he'd said that was embarrassing.
"Wah, it's hot... really hot. I've just reached my limit."
Even her ears had turned bright red. Ichinose hid behind Amikura.
Before Aoyama and Amikura could ask anything, she immediately crouched down and picked up the jacket filled with their things.
"Let's get going. If we don't head back soon, it'll be dark. We can talk while we walk." Ichinose sounded a little anxious. Without waiting for either of them to answer, she set off on her own.
"If we're in a hurry, it'll be faster if you let me carry your things, Ichinose."
Before Amikura could react, Aoyama picked up the other jacket and backpack from the ground, then strode after Ichinose.
"I can carry them myself, Aoyama."
"It's fine, it'll be good exercise."
Aoyama waved to Amikura, who was left bewildered as they set off, and noticed that Ichinose was walking even faster.
She was acting extremely strangely, nothing like her usual self.
