Kushida's eyes widened. "Aoyama, you can't be serious. How could I tell Horikita that? She'll definitely tell the D Class students."

Even Horikita Suzune, stubborn as she could be, wouldn't be stupid enough to take the blame for Kushida and shoulder all the responsibility for the exam's failure.

"Not only that, I'm going to tell Suzune exactly why you hate her." Aoyama wrapped his other arm around Kushida's slender waist. "You've probably noticed that Suzune still hasn't remembered you."

"Remembered you—the classmate who single-handedly brought your middle school class to ruin."

Kushida was infamous enough that even though Horikita Suzune had no friends, she had heard her classmates discuss the incident of a class falling apart more than once.

Perhaps because Kushida had hidden herself so well, Horikita had never connected her to the person
