The sound of barriers being torn apart and the camp alarms suddenly shattered the peace of the eastern camp at four in the morning.
The patrol players who had just come off shift had not even had time to sit down and take a few sips of nutrient solution when a pale white shadow too fast to make out abruptly shot up from behind the reverse slope!

A whole section of the outer composite crash barrier was violently ripped away.
A heavily armored Bone Beast carrying nutrient solution was knocked to the ground on the spot. Front claws as thick as buckets, tipped with grim Bone Blades, savagely plunged into the Bone Beast's abdomen and ripped outward!
"Enemy attack!! It's those Bone-Blade Hyenas!"
The heavy Mecha spun around with a roar, its dark-blue Thunder Spear stabbing like a lance into the hunting beast's flank. Exploding arcs of electricity forced it to howl in pain and stagger half a step back.
But the beast was cunning to the extreme. It did not engage the Mecha head-on at all. Its huge jaws snapped shut, tearing off a massive chunk of fresh bioengineered flesh, and with a flicker of its body, it slipped back into the pitch-black bushes.
"The eastern sentry post is under attack! Three Tier Two!"
"There's movement on South Slope too! Six... more are still coming!"
