There was no sun in the sky, only a massive black rift that had torn through the pink canopy. It was the wound of Titan Gu Yuan, as well as the entrance through which Void energy poured in. Beyond the wound lay the dark, chaotic abyss of the cosmos.
The player Tang Dashui was currently lying behind a faintly trembling lump of fat, tightly gripping a Two-Handed Greatsword he had picked up from a player secondhand shop.
As a "latecomer" who had only entered the game during the fifth beta test, he was nowhere near as dazzling as the big shots in the first echelon. Even now, he wore mismatched gear, had only barely reached LV.15, and his class was a Divine Guard advancement known for trading health for damage—[Berserk Behemoth].
But that did not change the fact that he could only hide behind cover and watch.
"Guys, this is some high-end gameplay."
Tang Dashui complained in the Party Channel. "This isn't fighting monsters. This is straight-up watching Godzilla vs. Kong live."
A world-shattering battle was unfolding before him.

The colossal insect, nearly a thousand meters long and resembling an interstellar warship, floated in midair. Every twist of its body, covered in purple crystalline armor, sent tremors through the surrounding space.
The other side: [Shadow Tentacle Aggregate (Melanoma/???-Level Lord)]
Countless black fleshy tentacles burrowed up from deep underground. Each was dozens of meters thick and hundreds of meters long, their surfaces covered in disgusting eyes and suckers. Like a mad black forest, they tightly wrapped around the lower half of the Void insect.
The distant players chatted animatedly, and quite a few even took group photos from afar as souvenirs.
After all, the thing looked way too Cthulhu-esque.
