"The extra Lord-level monsters have been cleared. Since you want to go one-on-one with the Golden Monkey King, I'll head over to Jia Yi's side first."

"Alright, thank you for your help."

Zhu Xi smiled at Hen Ren, only to be swatted away by the Golden Monkey King a moment later.

Fortunately, the defensive power of the Black God set was strong enough that it didn't cause Zhu Xi much damage.

Hen Ren nodded, watching the Golden Monkey King charge toward her in a rage.

She extended her fair palm, dodged a punch from the Golden Monkey King, and then, without using any force amplification, slapped the Planetary Level 6 beast directly onto the ground.

The Golden Monkey King was heavily injured but not dead; after all, Hen Ren had held back.

"I'm leaving."

Hen Ren flew away instantly.

On the night of August 31st, most of the Lord-level monsters in the core area of City 0551 had been wiped out. Only the Earth Dragon King remained among the King-level monsters, and since Jia Yi was suppressing it, killing it was only a matter of time.

As for the Golden Monkey King, it was killed by Zhu Xi shortly after being slapped by Hen Ren...

However, a small portion of the Lord-level monsters, combined with the tanks and aircraft bombing City 0551, caused all the monsters in the city to go berserk!

On September 1st, the Willow Leaf Squad—aside from Yu Fei and Gu Zizhen, who remained with the military—followed Liu Qingling. Led by a War God, they bypassed the main battlefield between the army and the monsters to reach the rear.

It had been nearly a month since the battle for City 0551, and most of the defensive measures had been built. During this time, there had been several beast horde attacks organized by Lord-level monsters, not to mention the sabotage by these cultist traitors.

King-level monsters didn't dare to approach because many laser cannons had already been set up.
