The weekend was over, and a new week began.
For most students, it was the painful, difficult start of a new week. The one exciting event to look forward to was Friday's Student Council election. Unfortunately, there was also a quiz.
The Student Council election was drawing closer by the day.
After classes ended, sometime after three in the afternoon, Akimoto Yoichi put on his mascot costume as usual and, together with Suzuran Ayano, Nishida Yuki, and the others, did their best to raise their profile.
There was just one difference: apart from Kuroo Maya, they had a new member.
"This is Kitamura Mao. Due to certain circumstances, she joined us a little late," Nishida Yuki introduced the girl beside her.
Although Kitamura Mao wore the school uniform, she gave off the air of a mature, reliable secretary.
Ignoring that impression, she had a neat, shoulder-length haircut and catlike eyes. She also had a large bust that seemed at odds with her slender figure.
No matter the occasion, Kitamura Mao was beautiful enough to turn heads. But she was clearly making a point of drawing attention to Nishida Yuki beside her, careful not to outshine the Young Lady.
"Hello, everyone. I'm Kitamura Mao, the personal maid of Miss Nishida. I look forward to working with you."
Like a maid straight out of a manga, Kitamura Mao lifted the hem of her uniform skirt and gave a ladylike curtsy.
"Ah, ah, it's nice to meet you!" Suzuran Ayano fumbled, unsure how to return the greeting, and could only bow.
"Could you be the legendary maid? Wow! I've never seen a real maid before, not a fake one like the ones at maid cafés! Kitamura, could you make me an omelet rice with a heart and my name written on it?"
