Under the overwhelming pressure of the Snow Empress and the others, their journey had been completely uneventful.
Apart from a few reckless, multicolored vines attacking them as they climbed down from the top of the valley, there had been no further trouble. Ice Empress had frozen the vines solid, and that was that.
"Is this the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well? So many Immortal Herbs..."
Looking at the scene inside the valley, Ice Empress's usually aloof face was now filled with astonishment. Hearing about it from others was nothing like seeing it with her own eyes. No matter how vividly she imagined it, something was always missing.
Everything before her was simply breathtaking.
The sky was completely shrouded in seven-colored poisonous clouds, making the valley shimmer as though it were bathed in a rainbow.
The distant cliff face was covered in the dark-blue vines that had attacked them earlier. It looked as if the entire cliff had been built from gems shimmering with seven-colored light.
The valley wasn't especially large, yet it was filled with all kinds of plants. From where they stood, there were more colors than she could count.
Beautiful flowers competed for attention, and the plants were laden with fruit. Many even gave off a faint glow, some brighter than others. Just looking at them was enough to tell they were extraordinary.
Most astonishing of all, nestled among the plants was a lake.
The lake was sharply divided into two halves. One side was ice-white, wreathed in wisps of pale vapor; the other was fiery red, its surface making the light above it shimmer and bend.
Red and white, like two enormous pieces of jade set side by side.
The valley was filled with a dense aura of Life, rising in waves from the lake.
