Background

Ye Qifeng was born in a higher-level world within the Great Wilderness. His father, a hunter capable of fighting Divine Beasts, died protecting their village when Ye Qifeng was ten. His mother died from grief two years later, leaving him to survive alone and seek strength. Through repeated life-and-death struggles, he acquired the Yin-Yang Heavenly Technique, reached the pinnacle of his world as the Master of Light and Darkness, and eventually attempted to create a world of his own. 793 794

His descent brought him to the Douluo Continent, where he fell into an Evil Soul Master blood-sacrifice site. Bibi Dong and Yue Guan found him after eliminating the Evil Soul Masters; he was subsequently raised in the Martial Soul Hall Orphanage. 43 794
