Looking at the smile on the Holy Son's lips,
Chris felt somewhat puzzled, unable to understand where his confidence came from.
But he said no more.
Perhaps the Holy Son truly had a way.
After all, Spirit Hall possessed immense resources. Producing something that interested Lou Gao would not be difficult.
As his thoughts turned, Chris respectfully replied:
"Yes, Your Highness!"
He immediately took the lead, guiding Ye Qifeng and Ni Huang toward the staircase at the very back of the first floor of the Blacksmith Association.
Two guards stood at the foot of the stairs.
Chris walked over to one of them and whispered a few words into his ear.
The guard then turned and went upstairs.
A moment later, the guard came back down and said to Chris:
"Bishop Chris, please wait a moment. The message has been delivered. Grandmaster Si Long will come down shortly."
Chris neither confirmed nor denied it. He turned to Ye Qifeng, and upon seeing him nod, a smile immediately appeared on his aged face.
"It is no trouble. We can wait a moment."
No sooner had he spoken than a sturdy young man appeared around the bend in the staircase.
"Bishop Chris, what brings you here? What important matter brings you to our Blacksmith Association?"
Before he even arrived, the young man called out in a hearty voice, asking Chris a couple of questions.
"Haha, greetings, Grandmaster Si Long. We do indeed have a matter to discuss with your association. I must trouble you to introduce us to your master, Divine Blacksmith Lou Gao."
The moment he saw the young man, Chris laughed and answered him, explaining his purpose. The two seemed to be on rather good terms.
The young man quickly descended the stairs and arrived before the three of them.
