Ye Ye was also a little dumbfounded. How had he suddenly run into Xiao Bai?

Ever since their last encounter, Xiao Bai had wanted to fight Ye Ye and avenge the humiliation of that blow.

As far as Xiao Bai was concerned, she'd already won. As long as she didn't throw the match, victory was guaranteed.
Ye Ye: "Fine. If you lose, you have to kiss me."
Xiao Bai blushed. "No way! That's too much."
Ye Ye: "Your demand is even more unreasonable! Either agree, or I'm not fighting."
Xiao Bai thought he had a point. Besides, she still believed she wouldn't lose.
Xiao Bai: "Fine."
Then Xiao Bai charged straight at Ye Ye.
Ye Ye: "No honor at all. You'd better watch yourself."
Xiao Bai used Demon Shark Collision. She figured that if she'd fallen there, she should get back up there—and this was her strongest attack, too.
But when Xiao Bai's body, barely over ten meters long, rammed into Ye Ye's hundred-meter frame, it didn't do the slightest damage. Ye Ye didn't even move.
Ye Ye had no idea how Xiao Bai had gotten so bold. She'd dared to charge despite such a huge difference in size. No wonder she was all brawn and no brains. (Even the author was scared.)
Xiao Bai: "Impossible!"
Xiao Bai couldn't believe her eyes. Ye Ye hadn't moved at all. She fell backward, then charged again.
After repeating this several times, Xiao Bai finally accepted reality. She'd...lost!
Xiao Bai threw her head back and roared, "No~!"
Just then, snow suddenly began to fall from the sky. Spring had just started, so it shouldn't have been snowing—and it had never snowed on Sea God Island before.
At that moment, music started playing on a radio aboard a distant fishing boat:
Snowflakes drift~
The wind blows cold~
The mournful song fit the scene so perfectly it could bring a tear to anyone's eye!
Just then, Xiao Bai prepared to run away.
She sprang up and swam off in the opposite direction from Ye Ye.
Xiao Bai was especially confident in her speed. She was sure Ye Ye couldn't catch up.
Ye Ye: "Young people these days have no honor. Don't run!"
Then Ye Ye chased after Xiao Bai.
Ye Ye stayed right behind Xiao Bai. It wasn't that he couldn't catch her; he was just teasing her.
Every time Ye Ye was about to catch up, Xiao Bai forced herself to speed up. She was shocked by how fast Ye Ye could swim, but he still couldn't catch her. If I stay out of his way from now on, I won't have to keep my promise.
And so they chased each other for quite a while.
Ye Ye was getting bored. It was time to collect.
Then Ye Ye suddenly accelerated and caught Xiao Bai.
Xiao Bai let out a scream.
She tried to wriggle free of Ye Ye's clutches, but his enormous body enclosed her completely. Xiao Bai could only give in. "I'll keep my promise, okay? Let me go!"
Ye Ye: "Turn into a human. Come on, let's get started!"
Xiao Bai: "Why do I have to turn human? Can't we do it like this?"
Ye Ye: "Stop talking nonsense. I'm more used to human bodies!"
Xiao Bai: "Fine, then!"
Then Ye Ye set up a barrier nearby. No one could enter or leave, and it kept out both sound and seawater.
The two of them turned into humans, and Xiao Bai gave Ye Ye a quick peck on the face.
Xiao Bai: "There, happy? I'm leaving."
After the quick peck, Xiao Bai's face was red, making her look even more adorable.
Then Xiao Bai tried to leave, but her head bumped into the barrier.
After bumping her head, Xiao Bai pouted angrily. "I kept my promise! Let me out already!"
Ye Ye thought Xiao Bai looked cute when she was angry, and wanted to tease her.
Ye Ye: "I said on the mouth!"
Xiao Bai: "But you never said that beforehand!"
Ye Ye: "I never said it had to be on the face, either!"
Xiao Bai: ...I have no comeback!
Xiao Bai: "Shameless! No, I'm leav—"
Before she could finish, Ye Ye had already fulfilled the promise for her.
Xiao Bai: "How could you do that?!"
Ye Ye didn't know why he'd done it, either.
Xiao Bai pushed Ye Ye away, then covered her mouth. "Get lost~!"
Though she said that, her body told a different story. Deep down, she was happy.
Ye Ye savored the moment, too. He couldn't hold back anymore.
The system in Ye Ye's Sea of Consciousness sighed, then watched the two of them, wondering where it should get its popcorn.

After a while, Ye Ye finally woke up. He looked around and saw that Xiao Bai was gone, but he was sure their research had been a success the night before. He figured Xiao Bai had left because she was embarrassed.
Ye Ye got up and transformed back into his original form, Godzilla. Then he swam in what he thought was the direction of Sea God Island, confident that he'd see Xiao Bai again.
But Ye Ye had forgotten he was terrible with directions—and underestimated just how bad he was. He'd gotten lost again, and now he had absolutely no idea how to find Sea God Island.
Out in the vast ocean, with no landmarks, it was hard to find the right direction—especially for someone with no sense of direction.
Ye Ye: "Damn it all, why are you doing this to me?!"
As Ye Ye tried to figure out what to do, a voice suddenly rang out from the depths. "Hahaha! I never imagined a living creature could contain so much energy. If I devour you, I'll surely become a god."
"Holy shit! What kind of weirdo is that?" Ye Ye thought.
Ye Ye instantly sobered up. He carefully considered the other party's words and picked out a few key phrases: "Devour me, then become a god."
That means it must be close to becoming a god. It wants to devour me, and then it'll become one. The only one who fits the bill is the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King.
Ye Ye: "You're the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, aren't you?"
Deep Sea Demonic Whale King: "Hahaha! I didn't expect you to know who I am. Now hurry up and surrender!"

Then an enormous black silhouette rose up from the seabed.
As it surfaced, it churned up waves several meters high and sent water spraying everywhere.
Ye Ye could see the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King clearly now. It was over two hundred meters long, twice Ye Ye's size, and its shape resembled a Kun.
Most of its body was black, with molten lava flowing through the cracks.
Its skin was like stone, rough and pitted, not smooth at all.
So Ye Ye wanted to give it a rub.
To be safe, Ye Ye still asked the system. "Xiao Ai, scan it!"

Ye Ye: "What if I say no?"
Deep Sea Demonic Whale King: "What?! You said no~! Argh, you're asking for death!"
As the saying goes, knowing yourself and your enemy is the key to victory. Ye Ye now knew everything about the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, but the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King knew nothing about him. Its defeat was already certain.
Ye Ye was confident he could defeat the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King. And so, the two deep-sea couch potatoes faced off~.
