The gatekeeper said, "Teacher Ye! Come in!"
Ye Ye entered Nuoding Academy. As he passed through the gate, he patted the gatekeeper on the shoulder, putting a little force into it, and said with a smile, "Keep working hard!"
The gatekeeper's back instantly grew damp with sweat. He was filled with admiration for Ye Ye's strength.
Ye Ye had only done that to intimidate him a little. Otherwise, the man might get too big for his boots and come looking for trouble later. Ye Ye wasn't afraid of trouble, but he preferred to nip it in the bud!
Since Ye Ye had come to Nuoding Academy, he naturally had to visit the principal. He went to the principal's office and politely knocked on the door.
The principal called out, "Come in!"
Ye Ye pushed the door open and entered. The principal's surprised voice rang out: "Teacher Ye?"
The principal stood up and greeted him warmly. "So Teacher Ye has returned! Why didn't you let me know in advance? I would've come to meet you at the gate! Please, have a seat."
Seeing how courteous the principal was, Ye Ye replied just as politely, "Hahaha! I was afraid of disturbing you, Principal."
"How could that be a bother? So, what brings you here this time, Teacher Ye? How long will you be staying?" the principal asked cautiously.
"I came to see my godson, Tang San. I won't be here long; I'm leaving tomorrow!"
Hearing that Ye Ye was leaving the very next day, the principal looked disappointed, but didn't try to persuade him to stay.
"Then I'll be on my way."
The principal said courteously, "Let me see you out."
"No need."
Ye Ye left and went to find Tang San in the work-study students' dormitory.
When he got there, he opened the door and went in, but Tang San wasn't there.
Ye Ye asked another student, who recognized him too.
"Oh, it's Teacher Ye! Tang San and Xiao Wu left."
It turned out winter break had already begun, and they had both gone home.
"Where did they go?"
"I don't know."
"All right."
Ye Ye left Nuoding Academy, wondering where Tang San might have gone.
After thinking it over, he figured Tang San could only have gone to Holy Soul Village. It was the only place he had to go.
Ye Ye brought up "Unscrupulous Navigation" and headed toward Holy Soul Village.
"Unscrupulous Navigation, this time take the road. Don't cut across."
"Of course! Destination: Holy Soul Village. Distance: 60,000 meters. Estimated time: ten minutes."
Ye Ye followed the direction shown by "Unscrupulous Navigation." It wasn't very far; Holy Soul Village was a small village near Nuoding Academy.
Ye Ye followed the road for a while before spotting three figures ahead: one adult and two children who weren't exactly little kids anymore. They seemed to be arguing.
"Yu Xiaogang! Stop following us!" Xiao Wu said.
"As Tang San's teacher, it's only natural that I protect him!" Yu Xiaogang replied.
After Ye Ye had thoroughly crippled him, Yu Xiaogang had returned to Nuoding Academy to find Tang San, hoping to use Tang San's talent to get revenge.
Tang San didn't believe a word of it. The books Ye Ye had given him had set his worldview straight. Besides, Yu Xiaogang didn't have any worthwhile knowledge to offer, so Tang San had no regard for him.
Once, when Yu Xiaogang was bothering Tang San again, Xiao Wu had finally had enough and accidentally cursed him out.
Yu Xiaogang had tried to hit Xiao Wu.
To Tang San, Xiao Wu was more important than anything. He had immediately fallen out with Yu Xiaogang, cut ties with him, and ended their relationship for good.
"You're not my teacher anymore. We've already ended our teacher-student relationship, and we don't need your protection!" Tang San said.
"Right! You can't even beat the two of us!" Xiao Wu added.
Yu Xiaogang's expression darkened further and further, especially when he heard Xiao Wu say, "You can't even beat the two of us!"
Just as Yu Xiaogang was about to attack, Ye Ye arrived.
Tang San was startled to see Ye Ye and blurted out, "Godfather!"
When Yu Xiaogang heard Tang San call someone his godfather, he realized it was because of this man that Tang San no longer trusted him.
Yu Xiaogang whipped around and saw that familiar face.
His whole body began to ache, especially his kidneys.
Yu Xiaogang opened his mouth, then finally managed to force out two words: "Ye Ye!"
The words came out weakly, barely audible to anyone else, but Yu Xiaogang had gritted them out through clenched teeth.
Ye Ye grinned, ignored Yu Xiaogang, and walked straight over to Tang San. He ruffled Tang San's hair and asked gently, "Who's been bothering my godson?"
Tang San replied respectfully, "Godfather! This Yu Xiaogang has been bothering Xiao Wu and me."
Yu Xiaogang pulled a dagger from somewhere and suddenly thrust it at Ye Ye.
"Godfather, look out!" Tang San cried.
"Look out, Teacher Ye!" Xiao Wu called.
Ye Ye grinned again. When the dagger was just one centimeter away, he abruptly turned and grabbed Yu Xiaogang by the wrist.
Ye Ye tightened his grip on Yu Xiaogang's wrist. The dagger plunged into Yu Xiaogang's shoulder.
"Ah!" Yu Xiaogang screamed.
"You're still this weak," Ye Ye said.
"Ah! I'll kill you!" Yu Xiaogang roared.
"I'll spare your life today, but you'll have to leave something behind," Ye Ye said.
"Come on, then!"
"This is a tough choice. Fine, I'll take a leg."
"Fuck your mother!"
"That'll hurt a little. Bear with it."
Ye Ye kicked Yu Xiaogang's left leg.
"Ah!" Yu Xiaogang screamed.
His lower leg snapped instantly, and bone pierced through the flesh as blood poured out.
The force sent Yu Xiaogang spinning through the air in a half-turn before he fell back to the ground.
"I'll cripple just one leg today. Next time, it'll be both your arms!"
Ye Ye turned to Tang San and said, "Let's go."
Tang San and Xiao Wu snapped out of their brief daze and answered, "Oh!"
"By the way, where are you headed?"
Ye Ye knew they were going to Holy Soul Village, but he had to pretend he didn't.
"Godfather, we're going to Holy Soul Village. That's where my home is," Tang San said.
"Yeah, that's right!" Xiao Wu chimed in.
"Good. I'll escort you there."
Ye Ye chatted with them as they walked the rest of the way, as if they'd already forgotten what had just happened.
Looking at how much more robust Tang San's body had become, Ye Ye asked, "Have you been keeping up with your training?"
"I have, Godfather. I've kept at it, and my physical fitness is excellent now!"
"Keep it up!"
Tang San was much stronger than he had been at this point in the original story, and his Soul Power Level was a little higher too!
A while later, they finally reached Holy Soul Village. Ye Ye said, "I'll be going now."
Tang San quickly asked, "Godfather, won't you come to my house and rest for a while?"
"No. Remember to keep training!"
"Then goodbye, Godfather. I'll keep working hard."
They headed toward Holy Soul Village, while Ye Ye walked into the small woods nearby.
A powerful shadow appeared in front of Ye Ye. He could sense that the man was strong, but nowhere near as strong as himself.
"You're the Clear Sky Douluo, aren't you?"
The shadow's body suddenly stiffened, and he was shocked. He hadn't expected the other man to recognize him.
"That's right. I'm Tang Hao. Why did you help Xiao San? What are your intentions?" Tang Hao asked.
"Hahaha! What intentions could I possibly have?"
A hammer crackling with lightning appeared in Tang Hao's hand. "You know I'm Tang San's father. So let me see whether you're worthy of being his godfather."
"Sure!"
Tang Hao raised the hammer and brought it crashing down on Ye Ye!
Ye Ye caught the hammer lightly with one hand. It didn't hurt him at all.
"How is that possible?" Tang Hao exclaimed.
Tang Hao tried to attack again, but Ye Ye held the hammer fast. No matter how hard Tang Hao pulled, he couldn't wrench it free. Ye Ye's strength was beyond imagination.
"You seem a little weak, Clear Sky Douluo!"
Ye Ye suddenly exploded with power. His clothes shredded, revealing a muscular body and the demonic-face muscles on his back.
Tang Hao's eyes widened. "What?!"
Ye Ye exerted his strength, sending Tang Hao flying along with the Clear Sky Hammer.
Ye Ye charged after him at incredible speed and punched at Tang Hao with all his strength. Tang Hao countered with the Clear Sky Hammer. Fortunately, Ye Ye hadn't gone all out, or the hammer might have shattered!
Even so, Tang Hao was sent flying and landed in the distance. Ye Ye charged after him again, landing punch after punch.
Tang Hao was driven into the ground.
"I surrender!" Tang Hao said.
Ye Ye stopped attacking and sighed. "There's nothing like punching someone with your bare hands!"
"..." Tang Hao said nothing.
"Senior, you've proven yourself. I admit defeat!" Tang Hao said.
"All right, all right. I never really meant to fight you in the first place!"
"..." Tang Hao said nothing.
"Senior, what do you want from me?" Tang Hao asked.
Ye Ye suddenly grew serious. "I want you to let go of your hatred."
"Impossible. They killed Ah Yin. I'll never let them get away with it!" Tang Hao said.
"You can't beat them anyway!"
"How would I know if I don't try?"
Ye Ye thought, Try it and die!
But aloud, he said, "What if I could bring Ah Yin back to life?"
Tang Hao's body trembled. "Senior, is that true?"
"Of course! But you must let go of your hatred!"
Tang Hao agreed without hesitation. His hatred for Spirit Hall was mainly because of Ah Yin.
Ye Ye nodded, then took out a bag of Jinkela.
"This is called Jinkela. It can make plants grow quickly. This whole bag will bring Ah Yin back to life within a month, and she'll already be able to take human form!"
Tang Hao carefully accepted it and said, "Thank you, senior. Then I'll be off?"
He could barely contain his impatience.
Ye Ye said, "Go ahead!"
"All right!" Tang Hao replied.
Ye Ye thought, I can't wait to see Ah Yin! Heh heh heh!

This is the second chapter today. Also, I won't be adding Ah Yin to the harem, but I'll let you know that in his previous life, Ye Ye had a good friend who was a descendant of Cao Cao. Heh heh heh!
