"What?! You said you've found a lead on Mouri?!" The DYZ team leader rose to his feet in surprise.
Hattori said nothing. Instead, he took out two photographs and handed them to the team leader.
"What are these?" the team leader asked in confusion.
"You've seen the news about the giant octopus and the amazing little boy who just appeared in Byron Bay, haven't you, sir?"
The team leader nodded. "Yes, it gave me quite a fright! First the Ghost Captain, then a giant silver octopus and an amazing boy. It feels like our dear planet Earth is getting more dangerous by the day!
"But what does that have to do with Mouri?"
"This is a photo of Mouri and me when we were children!" Mouri pointed at one photograph, then pointed at the other with a strange look in his eyes. "And this is a photo of the amazing little boy who appeared in Byron Bay today!"
The team leader carefully compared the two photographs, his brow furrowing deeper and deeper. "What are you trying to say?"
"Don't you think they have exactly the same face, sir?"
"Oh, Hattori! I know you and Mouri are best friends, and you're desperate to find him, but plenty of people in this world look alike. These two photographs alone don't prove they're the same person. Besides, are you trying to tell me Mouri suddenly regained his youth after going missing?
"Hattori, Mouri's surname isn't Kudo..." the team leader sighed.
Hattori: "..."
"Sir, this isn't just some subjective assumption of mine. It's the result of rigorous deduction!
"I analyzed them with specialized image-analysis software! The photographs are over ninety-nine percent similar! Even when two people look alike, there are still major differences in the details of their facial features. They only resemble each
