As soon as the military units approached the combat zone, they drove straight into the flank of the Twin Stars drone force. One swift assault cut off and surrounded nearly a hundred enemy craft, then rapidly whittled them down.

Although scattered Twin Stars fighters kept arriving from nearby to join the battle, reinforcements on that scale could not make up the difference in strength in the short term.
