"What on earth is happening?" The Elder Chief of the Ryan Race stepped out of the cave and looked up at the meteors streaking across the pitch-black sky, his expression shifting slightly.
With his extensive battlefield experience, he could naturally tell that this was no ordinary meteor shower. It had to be a large-scale descent of aircraft onto the planet.
And judging by their numbers, at least tens of thousands of aircraft had invaded Ryan Star!
But how was that possible? There were a full fifty warships stationed above the planet to watch over them.
Could the Locke Conglomerate have decided they were no longer useful and planned to dispose of them now that they had served their purpose?
"Grandpa, I'm scared!" A little girl of the Ryan Race clung to the Elder Chief's leg.
The Lyonians throughout the settlement also emerged from their crude dwellings, drawn by the spectacle in the night sky. Everyone looked uneasy.
Boom! Just as fear gripped the crowd, a meteor suddenly hurtled toward them from the distance, its engines roaring like thunder.
Thud! An enormous blue-green figure slowly landed outside their settlement. Its steel body was still glowing faintly red from atmospheric friction, radiating scorching waves of heat.
Although flying dust and shimmering hot air obscured their view somewhat, many recognized that familiar silhouette at a glance... a Bronze Mecha!
And it appeared to be a modified Elite Mecha, clearly different from the standard equipment they had once piloted on the battlefield.
"Stay on guard!" The Lyonian warriors on watch immediately took defensive positions.
But with only a few antiquated training Mecha and the primitive melee weapons in their hands, their defenses offered little more than reassurance against this unknown enemy.
Although the settlement had no shortage of Silver-Class warriors, the Locke Conglomerate had
