In the pale red cloud layer tens of thousands of kilometers above Black River City, a towering, magnificent palace floated in the air. Groups of guards clad in standard purple battle armor stood watch before its gates, each radiating an aura no weaker than that of a Domain Lord. There were even some World Lords among them. Beautiful birds rested around the palace, while many strange and powerful avians circled it in the sky, crying out as they flew.
Inside the palace, a purple-haired woman dressed in robes like violet petals sat high upon a throne. Judging from the pressure she exuded and the faint fluctuations of laws surrounding her, she was clearly a great immortal being!
Before her stood a vague blue humanoid phantom. The law fluctuations emanating from that phantom even surpassed those of the purple-robed woman seated on the throne.
"In that case, I'll have to trouble Yu Kun God with my disciple," Purple Thorn Bird God said with a smile.
"No matter. It's a small matter. I owed you a favor back then, so consider this repayment." The blue humanoid phantom smiled faintly. With that, it vanished.
Throughout the military camps of Black River City, squads of soldiers surged under command into one flying vessel after another like vast swarms of ants. In the nearby skies floated groups of powerful beings, each faintly radiating the aura of a world.
Some were blazing like fire, some icy as frost, some steady as mountains, some violent as thunder...
The silver-haired girl Shang Que Shen was among them, surrounded by a group of senior sisters from the same sect as they made their final farewells.
"Junior Sister, be extremely cautious on this journey. Remember not to let your guard down. Take good care of yourself."
