I had just posted the latest chapter and checked the comments when I saw an old friend say they were leaving.
Honestly, I felt a little down.
When I read comments full of foul language or even personal attacks, I just found them a little amusing.
It's freedom of speech, after all. Who hasn't been insulted?
But I can't help feeling it's a shame when old friends leave because of the story.
I have my own ideas about the novel's overall direction and major plot points, and I'm firm about them. I won't change them; I hope to see this story through to the end.
This is my first time writing a web novel, and I treasure every reader who follows it closely as a friend.
I've read every comment you've posted, many times over.
I replied to some and not to others. I was afraid that if I replied to every one, you'd find me annoying. Hehe.
I don't know how to express how I'm feeling right now.
Maybe my writing isn't good enough. Some of my worldbuilding and plot points have drawn criticism from you all.
I humbly accept it. Your feedback motivates me to improve. I've already made changes based on some suggestions that I thought made a lot of sense.
I'll keep working hard—to write more of the story, improve my writing, and hold on to the friends who share my passions.
