Orochimaru's Fear

Orochimaru looked at Simu with undisguised greed in his eyes—the greed of wanting to take over Simu's body.

"Long time no see, Mr. Orochimaru."

Simu smiled faintly and reached out to shake Orochimaru's hand.

The instant their palms touched, Simu immediately sensed a stream of Chakra entering his body.

As that Chakra flowed in, the world around him underwent a massive change in an instant.

He arrived in a barren land. Before him, a giant purple snake opened its cavernous maw, and a rancid gale rushed straight at him.

"Genjutsu?"

There was not the slightest hint of fear or concern on Simu's face.

The essence of Genjutsu was to use various methods to inject one's Chakra into an enemy's body, thereby invading the enemy's spiritual world and trapping them in an illusion by disrupting their mind and senses.

The key to successfully casting Genjutsu was how to inject Chakra into the enemy's body, and how to use that Chakra to interfere with the enemy's senses and mind.

The second was to use outside stimulation to regain one's true senses, thereby breaking the Genjutsu.

The key was that the person standing before Orochimaru now was merely one of Simu's clones, and only a tiny portion of Simu's mind and soul remained within it.

Therefore, the second stage of the Genjutsu failed.

Orochimaru's Chakra simply could not disrupt all of Simu's senses. After all, Simu had dozens of sensory sources; blinding a single clone was nowhere near enough to trap him in an illusion.
