At the Uchiha Clan Grounds, Itachi stood atop a building, watching the crimson Chakra pillar in the distance gradually dissipate. At last, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"It seemed Lord Hokage succeeded. Then, next..."

Itachi slowly drew the Ninja Blade in his hand and looked toward the clan members hiding in their homes.

Most of the clan's young and middle-aged ninja had already been assigned to ninja squads and sent to the battlefield. With Itachi's assistance, they had probably all been dealt with by now.

All Itachi had left to do was eliminate every ordinary person, woman, elderly person, and child remaining in the clan grounds, leaving them no chance at all!
