"Lord Jiraiya really is bold and skilled. Even before a major battle, you still had the energy to spend Chakra sending your companion away first."

Simu looked down at Jiraiya from above. The Chakra consumed by using the Summoning Technique to send Kakashi away was certainly no small amount.

Jiraiya grinned and said nonchalantly, "Don't worry. I still have plenty of Chakra left—enough to take care of you."

As if to prove he was telling the truth, he brought his hands together and activated the Summoning Technique once more.

Two enormous plumes of smoke burst out on either side, and Jiraiya summoned two more creatures.

The one on the left had purplish-red skin and wore samurai armor. In one hand, it held a spiked iron fork, while in the other, it carried a white shield shaped like a conical hat.

The one on the right was a blue-green toad with two katana strapped to its back. Its arms were folded across its chest, and its expression was cold and proud, making it look like a dual-wielding Swordsman.

"Jiraiya? Why did you summon us in the middle of the night?" the purplish-red giant toad named Gamaken asked first.

"Hm? Big Brother Bunta is here too. Looks like the enemy isn't simple."

He narrowed his pale yellow eyes slightly and fixed his gaze on the monster in the sky.

The other blue-green giant toad also noticed the enemy. He gripped the hilts of his swords with both hands, his expression serious and cold.

"Gamaken, Gamahiro, I'm counting on you two," Jiraiya said with a broad grin.

"You say you're counting on us, but there isn't even the slightest hint of apology on your face, Jiraiya."

Gamaken bluntly complained in response to Jiraiya's request.
