But my habit of picking fights with my own royalties hadn't started just yesterday. Old readers who had followed me all the way from One Piece: Swift Wind Swordsman had probably long gotten used to this nonsense of mine... At least this time, I finally finished it. At the beginning, I started this book in a real hurry. I wrote three thousand words and immediately published it. I had no outline or saved chapters whatsoever, and since I hadn't seriously written a book in years, the first few chapters were terribly wordy. Every day felt like painfully squeezing toothpaste from a tube.
