Launch Day Thoughts

This book officially went premium tomorrow at noon.

It was this newbie author's first time going premium, so I couldn't help feeling a little nervous.

To be honest, the numbers had been pretty average, so I wasn't very confident about the first-day subscriptions. I had no idea how many people would choose to keep supporting it.

But there's no need to play the pity card. I don't like pouring negative energy all over the internet. I think it's enough to quietly write a good story. Readers are here to read, after all, not to listen to an author complain endlessly like a resentful housewife.

So let's talk about something more important.

"1", the direction of this book:

First of all, this is clearly a harem novel. No stock speculation, no stomach medicine, no depressing NTR. But the protagonist isn't a brainless bulldozer either. I'll do my best to develop every relationship properly; characters without an emotional foundation won't be conquered.

Besides, everyday life, work, and studying are already exhausting enough. There's no need to burden yourself further when reading novels for entertainment. So from the very beginning, this book was intended to be a lighthearted, invincible wish-fulfillment story.

Of course, writing a good wish-fulfillment story also requires skill and writing ability.

To write a light, satisfying story that readers could enjoy without completely switching off their brains, where the protagonist was constantly showing off in a low-key way without making readers cringe all over from awkward wording...

—that was my writing goal.

Looking at it now, although my abilities were limited and I was still far from that goal, it seemed that what I'd written had still brought enjoyment to quite a few readers. That already made me very happy.
