The skeletal arm of Susanoo withdrew, bringing the Blood Shadow it held up in front of Uchiha Chen for him to examine.
Uchiha Chen studied the Blood Shadow with his Sharingan. Its entire body seemed to be made of some kind of blood-red, gelatinous substance, and the faint outline of Obito Uchiha's features could be seen in its face.
"Obito. Did you turn yourself into this to resist Kotoamatsukami?"
Filled with questions, Uchiha Chen used his Eye Power to cast a Sharingan genjutsu on the Blood Shadow.
It worked almost too easily.
Uchiha Chen could clearly sense an unusually potent Eye Power within the Blood Shadow, and the Prosthetic Eye's notification confirmed it.
Yet Uchiha Chen's Eye Power slipped into the Blood Shadow's mind with ease.

Then the foreign Eye Power detected by the Prosthetic Eye had to be Obito's. But what about the "Eye Power storage device"?
Uchiha Chen looked at the gelatinous substance that made up the Blood Shadow and cautiously infused some Eye Power into it.
The next instant, his perspective reversed.

Uchiha Chen saw his own handsome face from the front.
His consciousness took over this "creation" of Obito's with ease. Connected by their Eye Power, he seemed to be controlling two bodies at once.
The sensation was bizarre.

Uchiha Chen's brows knitted into a deep furrow. He looked Pakura up and down with mock seriousness, then let a trace of scorn curl his lips.
"Don't be ridiculous. Can you really be more handsome than me? You narcissist!
I brought you into the genjutsu to tell you that there's an enemy hiding inside a cedar tree southeast of us. Get ready to take them down with me."
"What? You... You're infuriating!"
Pakura gritted her teeth and glared at Uchiha Chen.
She was a stunning beauty known as the "Flower of Sunagakure," and a man had just mocked her looks?
But when she saw Uchiha Chen's handsome face, which was every bit as good-looking as White Gu's, half her anger disappeared. In the end, she merely nodded with an unhappy expression.
"Got it. I won't let the enemy get away."
They had spent a few extra moments talking nonsense in the genjutsu, but in reality, only a few seconds had passed while they stared at each other.
Uchiha Chen gave Pakura a look, then suddenly called out in a loud voice.

Excited, Uchiha Chen took out the Sealing Scroll and sealed White Zetsu's body inside.
White Zetsu's body contained Hashirama Cells. They were nowhere near as powerful as Senju Hashirama's, but they could still give Uchiha Chen a glimpse into the mysteries of Wood Release and Yang Release.
Besides, White Zetsu's Impersonation Technique was the most powerful transformation technique in the Shinobi World, while its Mayfly Technique was the second-best travel technique after Flying Thunder God.
Unfortunately, humans couldn't learn or master these techniques unless they became White Zetsu...
Uchiha Chen turned to look at the Blood Shadow standing quietly beside him.

Black Zetsu could attach itself to White Zetsu and travel with them using the Mayfly Technique. Perhaps the Blood Shadow could do the same?
Uchiha Chen wasn't sure, but he thought it was worth a try.
Right now, he could move around alone because the village's oversight had slackened during the war, and because he had accepted a mission to investigate contact between Kirigakure and Sunagakure.
Once the war ended, he couldn't stay outside the village for long periods like Jiraiya and Tsunade. After all, he didn't have a Hokage for a teacher.
But if he had a chakra puppet with Eye Power that could use the Mayfly Technique and Space-Time Ninjutsu, there would be a lot more he could do.
Create an alias, establish an alibi, recruit people outside the village, and build up his own forces.
