Background / History

Zijun is the son of the God of Destruction and the Goddess of Life. Though only six years old when introduced, he possesses the cultivation of a Second-Class God and resists his father's opposition to traveling through the lower realms. The God of Asura recognizes his potential and offers to guide him toward greater martial achievement 4.

He reveals that he can inherit more than one divine position, prompting the God of Asura, God of Destruction, God of Evil, Goddess of Goodness, and Goddess of Life to compete over his succession. The God of Asura ultimately relinquishes his position to Zijun 6.

After arriving in the Douluo world, Zijun enters Martial Soul Hall and meets his fiancée, Qian Renxue. He gives her rare cultivation resources, including hundred-thousand-year and million-year soul bones and Water of Life, then enrolls alongside her at Spirit Hall Academy 9 10 15.

He is intensely protective of people he considers his own, especially Qian Renxue. He reacts angrily when others disrespect or attempt to take her away, reassures her when she becomes jealous, and repeatedly supports her path toward godhood 15 18 31.
