Lately, this humble Daoist had been under quite a lot of pressure. Some readers probably already knew about it. I was interning at a publishing house, responsible for proofreading [Yes, that's right, proofreading—you didn't misread]. And lately, I also had exams to take.
Every day, I got up at six thirty, rushed to the company, came back at seven thirty in the evening, showered, ate, and then wrote the novel until twelve thirty. Then I still had to squeeze in time to review. Altogether, I only had about half an hour a day to relax.
Lately, this humble Daoist had been under a great deal of pressure too.
Also, Wang Qi and the Holy Emperor's battle had already entered its final stretch. Once Wang Qi knew how to deal with Integrated Body Realm Cultivators, he would be able to easily uproot the upper ranks of the Ancient Method Cultivators. The writing lately had not been going very well either; I had been somewhat stuck.
All of these things piled together, and I truly was under enormous pressure. My emotions had also been rather unstable lately. A few days ago, when my computer crashed and caused me to lose my draft, I even lost control of my emotions somewhat.
Also, I had another exam tomorrow.
So, please allow me to take a leave of absence and adjust myself a little.
