Whether in the history of the Divine Land or the history of Earth, the concept of the "Turing Machine" had always been closely tied to "decidability."

Research into "computing machines" had actually begun long before the age of steam. In an age when science still lay in ignorance, hand-cranked calculating machines had already been born. Difference engines capable of a certain degree of calculation and able to perform the four basic operations—the "brains" of computation driven by steam—were hardly anything new.

But only the structure of the "Turing Machine" had been epoch-making.

A "Turing Machine" was essentially an abstract model of computation. In a more abstract sense, it was a mathematical logic machine, a supremely powerful logical machine that could be regarded as equivalent to any finite logical mathematical process. Its original idea had been to use a machine to simulate human calculations with pen and paper. The Von Neumann architecture was its engineering implementation, transforming it into the "computer" with which people were more familiar.

And the direct reason for its birth lay in the latter two among the three great problems of "completeness," "consistency," and "decidability."

It was an abstract model used to determine whether any problem could be decided within a finite number of steps.

In truth, almost all known spells belonged to the category of "actions completed within finite steps."

Even "forming a cycle of its own, endlessly renewing itself" was merely an infinite cycle of finite actions, not an "action of infinite steps."

If the actions and experiences related to "spells" were replaced with a kind of "logic," then nearly all known divine abilities could be regarded as things "computable by a Turing Machine."

Yet divine abilities that could not be computed by a Turing Machine also existed.

For instance, the unique ability of having
