The Dragon Emperor and Shi Long Xuanyu followed Yilangfuli to a new Great Sun Territory.
Of course, calling it "new" was not quite appropriate.
This had already been Ant Clan territory hundreds of millions of years ago.
It was simply that, in this era, the Immortal Path no longer possessed navigational capabilities. As long as the Ant Clan on the other side proactively shut down their guiding artifact, no one would be able to find this place.
They could only hope that, amid random crossings, they would arrive at the correct planet.
One among all the celestial bodies in the observable universe that "might possibly harbor life."
Odds lower than winning the lottery.
Of course, to Foreknowers whose past and future were united as one, this was no great problem. They could confirm this process by selecting history in reverse.
But the Ant Clan was different. The Ant Clan was also a Celestial Favored Clan, and also possessed a great many Foreknowers. The same reverse-temporal logic gates that defied ordinary logic would interweave histories across spacetime that finite Foreknowers could not fully traverse. Such enormous disturbances meant that reverse-temporal selection would exact a price that finite Foreknowers could not bear.
Here, they instead had to rely on the most primitive markers.
Then, they entered a strange Great Sun Territory.
This Great Sun Territory was extraordinarily peculiar. There was not merely one planet on each orbital layer. Through meticulous mass calculations, the Ant Clan had embedded several planets into every orbit. Along the same orbit, the planets' axial angles and rotational speeds were exactly identical.
Moreover, those celestial bodies were not even relatively regular spheres.
The planets modified by the Ant Clan generally fell into two types. One had surfaces covered in utterly identical structures, gigantic ellipsoids that looked like scales
