Not long ago, Wang Qi's personality copy, in order to clear Wang Qi of blame, pinned all the evidence from that experiment—which had violated more than one rule of experimental ethics—onto Mi. It had once called itself "Mi" and adamantly claimed to be Mi's second personality.

That was not actually wrong. That copy was merely a piece of information, a string of data. The "material" it inhabited was Mi's "flesh" and "Divine Body." It had no independent body or soul. Thus, it also made sense to say that it was a personality Mi had split off after splitting her memories.

In other words, Wang Qi's copy was in fact a "Sea God," and moreover, a split personality of Mi, the foremost among the Sea Gods.

As for whether that "copy" counted as Mi or Wang Qi; whether Wang Qi integrating the copy counted as reclaiming himself or devouring Mi's sub-personality; whether Wang Qi changing his own thoughts after devouring the copy meant he was human or a Sea God... none of it could be said for certain.

But those questions could not have been clearly defined in the first place. No matter how much they were discussed, it would only be empty words hurled at empty air. Wang Qi himself did not care.

There was only one thing he cared about.

He had learned how to use this power, how to wield the laws of the Sea Gods.

The cloud intelligence dwelling within the insect swarm possessed a spirit body no different from a Sea God's Divine Body, so it was enough to employ a Sea God's power.

Another thing worth mentioning was that every Sea God technique was an indiscriminate area attack. There simply was not one with a smaller range of effect.
