For Earth's mathematicians, being driven to a mental breakdown by some theorem at worst meant going insane. The number of mathematicians who had spent time in psychiatric hospitals was only slightly lower than the number of writers who had.

But for cultivators of the Divine Land, a shattered Dao heart could bring physical death.

Therefore, Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems were exceedingly dangerous to the cultivators of the Divine Land.

Even Wang Qi, who had known of this theorem in his previous life and personally derived it again in this one, had encountered danger.

The notion that "all axiomatic systems are incomplete" was merely the common man's misreading of Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems. In truth, complete systems known to humanity did exist. Euclidean Geometry, for instance, could be axiomatized into a complete system. Furthermore, Gödel's Completeness Theorem that Wang Qi had put forth several years ago [in the Divine Land, it was called "Wang's Completeness Law"] also demonstrated the completeness of all first-order logical systems.

The collapse was not endless. At the very least, within Wang Qi's cultivation method, there were still things that even "incompleteness" could neither call into question nor overthrow.
