Cloud Sky Snow Mountain was a snow mountain in the western continent of the Divine Land.

Because the dragon race had nailed the plates of the Western Sea in place, the Divine Land's mountain-building movements were more pronounced on the western continent. Compared with the flat, boundless eastern lands, the western continent rose and fell far more dramatically.

Cloud Sky Snow Mountain was one such place.

This mountain was not particularly tall, nor was it part of any mountain range. It was a solitary peak, standing there abruptly, reaching the sky and joining the clouds, as though it had no connection whatsoever to the land below. Such terrain did not seem naturally formed. Later, City of Mountains and Rivers determined that a terrifying magical battle had once taken place here. The aftermath of high-level Cultivators' battle had thoroughly altered this mountain range and had even shifted the precise location where the mountain-building movement occurred.

Exactly when that battle had taken place, and for what reason it had erupted, could no longer be verified. The earth-shattering tale of those years had been buried by time, and now only this solitary peak stood here in a straight, lofty line.

Misty Palace stood atop this snow mountain. The main buildings of this great sect, one of the Five Excellences, were one with the summit of Cloud Sky Snow Mountain—or rather, it could be said that Misty Palace had simply hollowed out the mountaintop and built these nearly suspended structures.

Cloud Sky Snow Mountain was difficult to access and had always been a place disconnected from the mortal world.
