The instant their spirit bodies touched the edge of that fog, an indescribable, absolute repulsive force materialized out of nowhere.

Stiano's spirit body shuddered violently, and both he and Edwin were barred from entering.
Even more alarming, once the crimson thread drawing Audrey's spirit body inside disappeared into the fog, he could no longer sense anything through it.
In other words, their connection to Audrey had been severed.
An expression of almost absurd disbelief surfaced on Stiano's face.
What kind of being was he?
A True God who had accommodated a Uniqueness and walked the earth.
Imbued with the Uniqueness, his spirit body had long since transcended mortal dimensions and assumed a mythical form.
Even though this was merely an incarnation of his humanity, he still possessed the essence of a God.
Yet to his senses, the seemingly unremarkable grayish-white fog before him was—unknowable and incomprehensible.
Information was swallowed, perception was blocked, and even the most basic probes into its laws sank without a trace, failing to stir the slightest ripple.
There were only two possible explanations.
First, the other party's authority belonged to a pathway associated with Concealment, Deceit, or the Marauder, making them naturally adept at hiding themselves and blocking prying eyes.
Second, the fog—or rather, the being behind it—possessed a status higher than his own as a Sequence 0 True God.

As the second thought rose irrepressibly in his mind, Stiano was shaken to his core.
He instinctively looked at Edwin beside him. Whichever explanation was correct, it was already far beyond the capabilities of this incarnation of his humanity.
He had renamed himself the God of Machinery and Electricity. His authority was rooted in the creation and development of human civilization, in reshaping the
