A phantom soul, taking the form of a cute girl identical to Alluka, was slowly drawn out by Machi.

The white, ghostly life-form appeared once more, exactly as Nara Dan had seen it in the mental space.
A massive wave of dark malice again enveloped Machi, trying to consume her completely.
But Nanika soon froze. The person who had woken her didn't seem to be alive at all.
She was a corpse. There was no soul, no Life Essence—nothing!
Looking at the ghostly face, its expression one of shock, Machi spoke calmly.
"Do you remember me?"
"Little brat."
Nanika's eyes widened. That tone, that scent—this was clearly the person who had injured her last time!
In an instant, an unprecedented sense of danger rose from the depths of Nanika's soul.
Run! This person could clearly hurt her—or even kill her!
A roar that shook the soul rang out again. Nanika's malice swelled once more, relentlessly consuming Machi. It was so powerful that it even physically affected her body.
Blackness spread across Machi's skin, but her expression remained calm. As a corpse, she had no reason to fear these spiritual attacks or the loss of Life Essence.
A pitch-black Truth-Seeking Orb appeared out of nowhere, instantly enclosing Nanika's soul.
No matter how Nanika struggled and roared inside it, the Truth-Seeking Orb's power kept her suppressed, steadily and resolutely shrinking into a sphere.
But as a soul, Nanika naturally wasn't crushed into a ball of flesh like Maha. She continued to struggle desperately, her immense strength making the Truth-Seeking Orb tremble.
